Leslie Horton Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
He considers his greatest contribution to be his work with the senior class charity projects.

/Science and Research News Articles/ - Rogersville, MO, August 20, 2008, Leslie Horton, Ph.D. Candidate at Drury University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

In his four years at Drury University, Mr. Horton has honed his skills in neuroscience, biology and global studies. His responsibilities as a Ph.D. candidate include researching neuroscience and brain functions relating to Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and memory loss. He attributes his success to his hard work and his desire to succeed and contribute good things to the world.

Mr. Horton stays current with the trends in his field by reading nature journals and Neuron. In his opinion, the most important issue facing his field is figuring how the brain works so conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and memory loss may one day be cured. He considers his greatest contribution to be his work with the senior class charity projects and the time he has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Cox South NTICU.

In addition to pursuing his Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Mr. Horton received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, with a Minor in Global Studies, with Honors, from Drury University in 2008. He is an Ambassador for Drury University and a member of the French Club.
