Mohamadou Sene Honored for Accomplishments in Molecular Diagnostics
Sene's passion for microbiology led him to become Supervisor of Molecular Diagnostics
WASHINGTON, DC, August 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mohamadou Sene, Supervisor of Molecular Diagnostics for the Children's National Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the diagnosis of infectious diseases.
Mohamadou Sene has nine years of experience as the Supervisor of Molecular Diagnostics for the Children's National Medical Center. His responsibilities include performing molecular diagnostics and blood genotyping. He became involved in his profession because he was always interested in learning about life and microscopic organisms. He attributes his success to his vision and interest in Biology.
Mr. Sene received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Martin University in 1999, and later earned his certification in Molecular Biology in 2008 from Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) and the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
