Industry Leader Delores Bostic Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Delores Bostic is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology
MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD, October 6, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Delores Bostic, Biologist and Medical Technologist for the National Institutes of Health, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical research.
With a background in biological science and writing, Ms. Bostic works as a Medical Technologist at The National Institutes of Health. In her position she sets up cultures for diagnosis, processes autopsy tissue, reads and interprets fungal and gram stain smears and relays pertinent information to physicians and assists new doctors. She volunteers her free time to Daughter for the Day, Inc., an organization that offers seniors transportation services. Ms. Bostic's shifts are generally two to three hours long. Specifically, she loves speaking with the seniors she helps, as their stories and personal histories greatly inform her writing; a newly published author, she aims to write five more novels and begin working on a screenplay.
In 1988, she received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Eastern Washington University. She is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a medical technologist. She was a finalist for the National Indie Excellence Award for African-American Fiction.
