Kevin E. Kip celebrates three years as Executive Director of Research at the University of South Florida College of Nursing and President of KMS Research, LLC

SANFORD, FL, October 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin E. Kip, Executive Director of Research at the University of South Florida, College of Nursing and President of KMS Research, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and scholarly achievements in epidemiology and interventional cardiology.

As Executive Director of Research at the University of South Florida, College of Nursing, Kevin E. Kip is responsible for submitting and overseeing multi-million dollar grant applications with the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, and industry sponsors. He teaches principles of epidemiology at the graduate level and mentors junior faculty in becoming established research scientists. As President of KMS Research, LLC, he manages contractual efforts for epidemiological and biostatistical services for academia and industry. He also testifies as an expert witness in product liability cases that involve epidemiological analyses.

Dr. Kip received his Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. He is a member of the Society for Epidemiologic Research and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a co-author on more than 90 published papers in peer-reviewed journals.
