Erica L. Bartlett applies her IT expertise to product management

PORTLAND, ME, November 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Erica L. Bartlett, Product Manager in Engineering for iMANY, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in product design and development.

Erica L. Bartlett has 11 years of experience in her field, with six years spent as product manager for iMANY, Inc. Ms. Bartlett utilizes her expertise in product development, particularly design, to gather and analyze requirements, write functional design documents, review test cases, and collaborate with developers, quality analysts and documentation specialists. iMANY, Inc. is a software development company that provides contract management software and services, particularly focusing on the life sciences industry, products that assist with government compliance, and commercial contracting.

At the suggestion of a family member, Ms. Bartlett decided to explore computer science as a college major. She discovered that she enjoyed working with computers, and during her time at Northeastern University, she was able to do some cooperative education work at C.S. Draper Labs, providing IT support. When she returned to Maine, she found a position in customer support at iMANY. She enjoyed that, but when she began working with developers to assist with testing and business analysis, she discovered that this was her niche. She was able to move to that area as an analyst in 2003, and moved up from there into product management.

Ms. Bartlett, who received a bachelor of science in computer science in 1999 from Northeastern University, attributes her success to her hard work, passion for providing quality products, and detail-oriented nature. The most gratifying aspect of her career is interacting with her customers and ensuring their satisfaction. She has now known some of her clients for 11 years, and those relationships have been valuable both personally and professionally.
