Kakarala J. Rao Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Kakarala J. Rao celebrates a 32-year career as a physician of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs

NAPLES, FL, November 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kakarala J. Rao, MD, Retired Physician of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in endocrinology.

Prior to his retirement as a physician of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, a position he held for 32 years, Kakarala J. Rao was primarily responsible for practicing internal medicine in the field of endocrinology. During his active service in the Air National Guard and the Air Force during the Persian Gulf War, he was a senior flight surgeon. He attributes his success to his extensive research in endocrinology.

Dr. Rao received an MD from Andhra University in India and a Master of Science in community health from the University of Kansas. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Aerospace Medical Association and a fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American College of Physicians.
