RALEIGH, NC, November 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Wollenberg, Medical Technologist at Johnston Medical Center - Smithfield, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in lab work.

A medical technologist at Johnston Medical Center - Smithfield, Mr. Wollenberg attributes his success to his work ethic. His day-to-day responsibilities include working in all areas of the laboratory, and overseeing the blood bank, transfusions, hematology, chemistry and microbiology. He is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Mr. Wollenberg received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Dayton. He holds a certification in medical technology, which he earned at Wright State University, and received the President's Scholarship Award.
