Michael S. Zhdanov celebrates 17 years as a professor of The University of Utah
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, November 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael S. Zhdanov, Professor of The University of Utah, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in geophysics.
With 17 years of experience as a professor of The University of Utah, Michael S. Zhdanov is responsible for supervising and teaching graduate and doctoral students, and assisting them with their research in geophysics. He became involved in his profession because he has always been interested in geology and geophysics research, and he attributes his success to his hard work.
Dr. Zhdanov earned a doctorate from Moscow State University in 1978, having earned a Ph.D. in physics and mathematics in 1970 and a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics in 1969, also from Moscow State University. He is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and Electromatic Academy, USA.
