Dr. Nicholas J. Grimaudo Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Nicholas Grimaudo worked as a general dentist for 15 years
ST. PETERSBURG, FL, December 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Nicholas Grimaudo, Academic Chair of Natural Sciences at St. Petersburg College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
With 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Grimaudo is skilled in microbiology and applied microbiology. At St. Petersburg College, he works as the academic chair of natural sciences. In his position, he is responsible for managing the department, conducting research and writing. He also teaches continuing education in the field of dentistry; he instructs students in biology, chemistry and physics.
Previously, Dr. Grimaudo spent 15 years as a general dentist. He has authored numerous articles on infection control and other dental office-related topics. He attributes his success to his hard work, continued research, and ability to keep abreast of industry changes.
In 1980, he earned a DMD from the University of Florida. Prior to this, he received a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Adelphi University. He is also certified as a trainer for the Occupational Safety & Health Administration. Dr. Grimaudo belongs to the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. His goal is to develop the St. Petersburg College's science department into the best in the country.
