Judith Marie Krey Joins the Ranks of Distinguished Professionals
Judith Marie Krey of Waubonsee Community College selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's 2010 Distinguished Educators in America calendar

SUGAR GROVE, IL, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Judith Marie Krey, Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the Biology and Microbiology Department of Waubonsee Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

For the past 12 years, Judith Marie Krey has served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Waubonsee Community College, a two-year institution of higher learning. At its inception, the school offered few basic courses as a nursing program. Presently, on the cusp of its 40th anniversary, expansion efforts have come to include an excess of 35 academic disciplines with the option to obtain two-year degrees or certificates.

Inspired by a lifelong desire to become a teacher, joining the faculty at Waubonsee Community College seemed like a natural fit for Ms. Krey. Much like the high school and college instructors that inspired her to become an educator, she possesses a keen ability to relay information to her students in a clear and concise manner. With such dense subject matter as biology and microbiology, she delights in the satisfaction of helping students to process volumes of new material. Her innovative instruction methods focus on developing a sound understanding of concepts and teaching students how to learn and retain information. For outstanding professional efforts in her field, Ms. Krey was recently selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's 2010 Distinguished Educators in America calendar. This honor is reserved for exemplary professionals who are committed to advancing in their career and commemorate industry accomplishments.

Teaching microbiology and the fundamentals of biology and medical assistant training courses requires that Ms. Krey remain updated on the latest trends in the science field. She does so by reading Science News, Science, Microbiology and CMA Today, the publication for certified medical assistants. Ms. Krey holds a master's degree in biology from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from Madonna University. She is a former member of Michigan Community College Biologists, and intends to continue offering her services to the McGraw-Hill companies as a textbook reviewer.
