Berylene Rogers Receives Distinction for Excellence in Scientific Publishing
Berylene Rogers of Los Alamos National Laboratory, coordinates and publishes safety data and research journals
LOS ALAMOS, NM, April 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Berylene Blakeley Rogers, Publication Specialist for the Los Alamos National Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of publishing.
With an impressive professional background spanning more than 36 years, Berylene Rogers is distinguished for her dedication to scientific publishing. In her position with Los Alamos National Laboratory, she is primarily responsible for coordinating and publishing safety data and research journals. She is proud to be celebrating her 19th year with LANL, and attributes her success to her flexibility, top-notch customer service skills and passion for publishing.
Ms. Rogers has also been tasked to maintain the Safety Basis Division's internal website. "The web work is a nice change from the technical documentation. It allows me to be a bit more creative," she says.
Berylene holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor of arts in journalism and government from Eastern New Mexico University. A certified journalism and social studies teacher, she is professionally affiliated with the Society for Technical Communication.
