Phenomenal Associate Professor Of Physics Develops Into The Distinguished Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Carlos M. Giles Antunez De Mayolo has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work in the Education Industry.

CAMPINAS, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL, April 29, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Carlos M. Giles Antunez De Mayolo has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work in the Education Industry. As an Associate Professor for the University of Campinas he has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.

The University of Campinas which is known also as Unicamp, is one of the public universities of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Its main campus is located in the Barão Geraldo district, with additional campuses in Limeira and Piracicaba.

Created in 1962 and physically installed in 1966, Unicamp's original goal was to promote science education in the industrial pole of São Paulo's interior region. As of 2006, the university had about 16,000 undergraduate and 15,000 graduate students, as well as 1,800 faculty members.

Carlos is involved in research and development at the university. He is the Physics Coordinator of the Research Laboratory and specializes in condensed matter physics in the X-Ray Applied Crystallography Laboratory.

The X-Ray Applied Crystallography Laboratory belongs to the Condensed Matter Physics Department of the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin of the University of Campinas. They perform research with X-rays in various areas of science as condensed matter physics, biophysics and X-ray imaging. The main experimental techniques are X-ray diffraction in single crystal and powders, small-angle scattering and X-ray phase contrast imaging.

During his educational career, Carlos earned a PhD Degree in Physics from the University of Paris and a Post Doctorate Degree in Physics from the University of Grenoble. He is a member of the International Union of Crystallography, Brazilian Physical Society and Brazilian Crystallography Society. In the time away from his busy schedule, Carlos enjoys running and swimming.
