David W. Hamon Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
David W. Hamon's expertise is in strategic research
STAFFORD, VA, June 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David W. Hamon, Chief Scientist and Senior Research Advisor for Defense Threat Reduction Agency Office of Advanced Systems and Concepts has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.
Mr. Hamon has 32 years of overall professional experience, and has been with Defense Threat Reduction Agency for 10 years. As an international security research director, he is responsible for overseeing integrated research activities of 25 research staff regarding future threats and nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. He created a hybrid public-private international security research organization within the agency and was appreciated for his work excellence.
In 2008, Mr. Hamon received the Joseph B. Platt Award from Analytic Services, Inc. He received the Civilian Service High Award in 2005. He earned his Master's Degree in Political Science from Northeastern University. Mr. Hamon is a member of the International Studies Association and The International Institute for Strategic Studies, and attributes his success to the support he receives from his mentors and the people around him.
