Through 15 years of diligence and integrity, Ms. Johnson has worked her way up to attain the position of senior scientist of PerkinElmer Inc. Utilizing her expertise in research and analysis, she takes responsbility in testing new release on software, ensuring that software is running correctly, systems and overnight run sequences are completely corrected for drugs, standards or samples used in academia, correcting software needed for standardized samples and printouts for reporting, and modifying and interacting with the team. PerkinElmer Inc. is a manufacturing company that provides analytical instruments, optoelectronics, genetic screening tools, medical imaging equipment, and life and analytical science software and instruments.

Ms. Johnson received her Master of Science in Chemistry from Sacred Heart University (2004) and her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut (1995). Inspired by the change in modern technology and advance in science, she pursued her profession. Currently a certified internal auditor ISO 9001, she is a member of the local coed volleyball team, Laurel Athletic Club, American Chemical Society and president of Nash Drum Corps. She attributes her success to her upbringing, optimism and mother's support. In the future, she intends to pursue her Ph.D. in spectroscopy and become more involved in applications and chromatography.
