Phenomenal PhD Earns Membership In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Richard M. Harrison PhD has been accepted among the ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to his remarkable work in Research and Development.

KAILUA KONA, HI, June 6, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Richard M. Harrison PhD has been accepted among the ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to his remarkable work in Research and Development. As a research Scientist and Professor of Physiology for the Tulane National Primate Research Center, as well as throughout his brilliant 42 year career, Dr. Harrison has consistently displayed the passion, vision, dedication and diligence required to be considered among the best.

Dr. Harrison has three main areas of research interest which include maternal-fetal transmission of viruses, interrelationship of reproductive hormones to the immune system, and cryopreservation of nonhuman primate gamates and early embryos. He is an expert in Reproductive Physiology and frequently presents lectures on biomedical subjects. Dr. Harrison has also participated in various research publications.

During his educational career, Dr. Harrison earned a PhD in Reproductive Physiology from Michigan State University in 1973. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Society of Andrology and the Society for the Study of Reproduction. Dr. Harrison was also the initial historian for the American Society of Primatology.
