Valery V. Kupriyanov celebrates 40 years in science research

WINNIPEG, MB, CANADA, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Valery V. Kupriyanov, Ph.D., D.Sc., Senior Research Officer for NRC Institute for Biodiagnostics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in scientific and technical research.

Utilizing 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Kupriyanov excels in biochemistry, cardiovascular physiology, magnetic resonance, optical imaging and spectroscopy. As a senior research officer, he signs requests, supervises staff members, writes papers, conducts research and experiments, teaches others and applies for grants. He attributes his success to his education, training, persistence and perseverance.

Dr. Kupriyanov received his Master's Degree in Chemistry in 1970 and Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1975, both from Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 1986, he attained his Doctor of Science in Biochemistry and Cardiology from USSR Cardiology Research Center. He is a member of the American Heart Association, Inc., The American Physiological Society and the International Society for Heart Research. In the future, he intends to venture into consulting.
