Barbara Rugani-Kyser builds second career in construction after 26 years in the USAF

SAN JOSE, CA, July 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara Rugani-Kyser, Field Office Coordinator for DPR Construction, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in construction management.

A 26-year veteran of military service, Barbara Rugani-Kyser recently embarked on a second career in construction services. Best noted for her organizational management skills, she lends her talents to DPR Construction, a commercial construction company that caters to the advanced technology, corporate, healthcare and life science markets. As field office coordinator, Ms. Rugani-Kyser is responsible for assisting project managers and engineers, running CMIC and Prolog software, updating RFI's and drawings for project engineers, and liaising between project engineers, owners, sub-contractors and project accountants.

During her time in the military, Ms. Rugani-Kyser was honored with numerous recognitions for outstanding service, one of which was the Air Force Commendation Award. She considers this her proudest achievement. She attributes the success that she enjoyed in multiple endeavors to following her heart, being grounded in her belief in the Lord, and having lived the core values of the United States Air Force.

Ms. Rugani-Kyser is currently pursuing her master's degree in theology at Fuller Seminary and received her bachelor's degree in history in 2001 from Columbia College. Her affiliations include the Air Force Association and the National Association of Professional Women. She was recently named Professional of the Year in Construction Management by Cambridge Who's Who .
