Cohen, Ph.D., Scientist for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Associate Professor for the University of Pennsylvania, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in science research.
With 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Cohen is a scientist for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and an Associate Professor for the University of Pennsylvania. Specializing in electro physiology, he takes responsibility for conducting research on alterations in brain circuity induced by brain injury, conducting experiments on brain injuries that lead to and contribute to cognitive impairment and reduction in seizure threshold, and manages a National Institute of Health-funded laboratory.
Dr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Maryland College and his Master of Science in Zoology from the University of Maryland, College Park. He went on to acquire his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1995. Currently, he is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the National Neurotrauma Society. Accrediting his success to his hard work, he looks forward to going on to become a leader in the field of neurotrauma.
