Jean Alfred Morisset Recognized for Excellence in Science Studies
Jean Alfred Morisset celebrates 40 years of unremitting research funding

SHERBROOKE, QC, CANADA, August 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jean Alfred Morisset, Ph.D., Professor (Retired) for the University de Sherbrooke, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

With 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Morisset specializes in pancreatic physiology. He writes grant proposals and reviews articles, conducts fundamental research on the physiology of the pancreas and trains graduate students. He is the author of over 200 publications and 320 abstracts which were presented at national and international conferences. He attributes his success to his hard work.

Dr. Morisset received his Ph.D. in Pancreatic Physiology from the University de Sherbrooke in 1968. He is a member of the American Pancreatic Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, the European Pancreatic Club and the French Pancreas Club. In the future, he intends to become a consultant for a pharmaceutical company.
