Richard C. McAuliffe Distinguished as a VIP of the Year for Excellence in Manufacturing
A licensed third-class engineer, Richard McAuliffe holds a grade 2 certification in waste and water treatment plants

FRAMINGHAM, MA, October 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard C. McAuliffe, Facilities Engineer for Protein Purification Manufacturing Corp, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in manufacturing.

Mr. McAuliffe possesses two decades of experience in the manufacturing industry. For the last half of his career, he has served as a facilities engineer for Protein Purification Manufacturing Corp, a trusted manufacturer of a Feline Leukemia Vaccine. His role entails taking care of compressors, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, purified water systems, and clean steam systems. He monitors waste and water treatment plants, checks all systems and changes belts and filters. Mr. McAuliffe also functions as the chief engineer of a boiler plant.

In recognition of his work, Mr. McAuliffe was recently distinguished as a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional goals. Mr. McAuliffe has also received a number of awards of recognition from Biofuel. He attributes his success to always taking training opportunities when they are offered by his company.

In 1982, Mr. McAuliffe earned an associate degree in Diesel Technology from Blue Hills Regional Technical School. A licensed third-class engineer, he holds a certification in refrigeration from the Environmental Protection Agency, as well as a grade 2 certification in waste and water treatment plants. He intends to attain a higher class in his boiler license in the near future. Aside from work, Mr. McAuliffe does a 50-mile walk for multiple sclerosis annually and serves as a leader for the Boy Scouts of America. He also enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his children.
