Hunt, Research Fellow for Nutrilite, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Applied Science & Chemistry. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Dr. Hunt has played a key role in developing cosmetics, drugs, and skin care products utilizing nanotechnology. In her present position as a technical executive, she is fully recognized as a scientific authority, both within the organization and the external scientific community. The author of more than 80 technical reports, Dr. Hunt applies her knowledge of chemistry and other related sciences in the design and formulation of unique, new or improved technically-sound products that meet defined market needs and objectives. Dr. Hunt also possesses a strong understanding of regulatory issues, quality assurance, operations and manufacturing. She obtained 1 US Patent, 1 European patent, and 1 German patent between 2006 and 2009 (she has applied for 3 European patent applications since 1997, and 6 US Patent applications since 1997). Dr. Hunt has published the results of her research in a variety of scientific journal articles and been invited to make a number of presentations at industry conferences. In addition to enjoying a scientific career that has spanned 15 years, and excelling as a student, Dr. Hunt played rugby in three World Cup championships for the United States.

Lauded for her research initiatives, Dr. Hunt attributes her success to her dedication and discipline. She is a three-time recipient of the eminent Global Standard of Leadership Award, and a five-time recipient of several Research and Development Excellence Awards, as presented by the Neutrogena Corporation. Additionally, Dr. Hunt received a $1.5 million independent research project award from the internationally-prominent pharmaceutical company, Procter & Gamble, and she ascribes her strong work ethic for her solid reputation.

Dr. Hunt received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and mathematics from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and went on to earn a Master of Science in physical chemistry and a Ph.D. in biophysical inorganic chemistry from UC San Diego in La Jolla, California. She is a licensed captain, and a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
