Mary Louise Yost Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Cardiovascular Research
Mrs. Yost has been selected as a VIP member for 2011-2012

ATLANTA, GA, November 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Louise Yost, President of The Sage Group, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in cardiovascular research.

For nearly a decade, Ms. Yost has made major strides in assisting pharmaceutical, medical device, stem cell and other companies focused therapies for peripheral artery disease, also known as PAD. With more than 30 years of experience as a medical device analyst for Wall Street, she co-founded THE SAGE GROUP, LLC in 2002 in order to conduct extensive research and provide consulting on this previously obscure but widespread disease. Ms. Yost functions as the president and the senior research analyst of the company. Her role entails utilizing her unique disease-based approach to research and consulting, writing reports, and overseeing all aspects of the organization.

She has also created the Diabetes Method, a population-based projection model that provides accurate real-time estimates of the number of people with PAD and critical limb ischemia, also known as CLI. Since its inception, THE SAGE GROUP, LLC has become the primary source for healthcare companies targeting the lower limb disease market, offering information on statistics, underlying causes, therapeutic solutions and more.

Mrs. Yost received an MBA in finance from the University of California at Berkeley in 1970, having received an Associate of Business in economics and geography from the University of California, Berkeley. Her background in economics allows her to efficiently calculate the economic and societal costs of disease, as well as evaluate cost-effective comparisons of therapeutic approaches. Throughout her analytical career, she has researched all areas of health care products and services, and has successfully identified major trends in the industry and analyzed the investment impact of these changes on specific sub-sectors and companies.

Additionally, Ms. Yost serves on the Vascular Disease Foundation's board of directors as treasurer. The position, as well as her support of start-up research companies, allows her to further her mission to prevent CLI-related amputations. In years to come, Mrs. Yost would like to expand market data to the major markets in the world, including China, the Far East, South America, and Middle East.
