PHOENIX, AZ, November 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Melissa S. Stockton, Co-Owner of Creative Flair Educational Consultants, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in educational development.

Mrs. Stockton, along with her business partner, founded Creative Flair Educational Consultants, LLC in the summer of 2010. In the short time it has been open, it has instructed professional development workshops for teachers and administrators both regionally as well as nationally. With 15 years of experience, Mrs. Stockton designs effective professional developments and workshops that will best align with a school's mission and vision in order to support their teachers with the development and implementation of differentiated strategies. She focuses on enhancing classroom instruction through interactive professional developments with a flair for fun using research-based differentiated strategies and methodologies.

Mrs. Stockton's passion with working with students was formed by an unforgettable teacher she had in sixth grade, who inspired her to teach. She is also a gifted education specialist for the Cartwright School District. Since beginning this position in 2008, she has more than tripled the number of students identified as gifted, and implemented the school-wide Cluster Program at all 20 schools. An experienced FOSS science consultant, language acquisition specialist, curriculum specialist, and mathematics coach, she continues to present at both regional and national conferences speaking on various educational topics.

Mrs. Stockton earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Quincy University, followed with a Master of Education, with a concentration in bilingual and multicultural education, from Northern Arizona University. Certified in early childhood education, reading education (K-12), and gifted education (K-12), she is pursuing a master's degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented, the National Association for Gifted Children, ASCD, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and NSTA. In 2011, she was a speaker at the National Association for Gifted Children Conference in New Orleans, LA. In the future, Mrs. Stockton intends to be a full-time consultant.
