Dr. Heather R. Sanders Joins The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Dr. Heather R. Sanders has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA, June 22, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Heather R. Sanders has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As a Principal Scientists with Quest Diagnostics for the past 12 years, Dr. Sanders has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Dr. Sanders serves a Principal Scientist for the Oncology Research and Development Group. She is responsible for planning, organizing, and performing experiments to develop and refine state of the art assays. Dr. Sanders also trains and provides scientific direction to laboratory scientists of various levels. In addition, she provides project management leadership for designated teams of laboratory personnel.

During her collegiate career, Dr. Sanders earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of California, Riverside. She is a member of MENSA and serves on the Editorial Review Board for Molecular Cytogenetics. Dr. Sanders also serves as a Reviewer for the International Journal of Biomedical Sciences. She has been published on several occasions, sharing her expertise with the medical community.

Dr. Sanders was the recipient of the Quest Diagnostics Patent Innovation Award in 2007, 2009, and 2010. In addition, she was the recipient of the William C. Reeves New Investigator Award in 2005, Eugene Cota-Robles Fellowship in 1999, and the CRC Press Freshman Award for Excellence in Chemistry in 1994.
