Dr. Levy-Miller retains a wide base of experience and knowledge that she utilizes to advise emerging physicians and clinical patients. By providing high-quality and ongoing medical care, she is able to treat patients based on their individual needs. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Levy-Miller develops internal medicine for the prevention of medical diseases, researches in neuroscience and has integrated her findings with clinical medicine. Using this innovative and integrative approach to medicine allowed her to treat patients who were previously deemed incurable or untreatable, restoring quality of life as well as increasing life expectancy. She continues to work in updating guidelines for standard of care using evidence-based mediums, credentialing guidelines, numerous medical/legal issues, medical ethics and focuses on both traditional and integrative methods to improve the quality of care and safety of patients. Additionally, she developed an ambulatory care outpatient teaching program and helped to conceive, develop and educate others in a Perioperative Medicine consultation service at local universities.

Dr. Levy-Miller earned an MD from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1981. She is or has been a member of the North American Association for the Study of Obesity, American College of Physicians, American Medical Information Technologists, the Women Physicians Congress of the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women's Association, and scientific interest groups of the National Institutes of Health. For her vocational excellence, Dr. Levy-Miller received a lifetime VIP award from the International Business Leaders Forum. In addition, she was awarded Physician of the Year for the State of Illinois by the U.S. Congress for the years 2003, 2004, and 2005.
