Dr. Le T. Vuong celebrates nearly three decades of success in her field

DAVIS, CA, September 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Le Vuong, Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Fishrock Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in science and research.

Dr. Vuong has cultivated her expertise in launching and designing products throughout her 27 years of professional experience. She serves as a founder and chief operations officer of Fishrock Laboratory, which specializes in product design and testing solutions. In addition to utilizing her expertise, she manages financial operations and handles networking for the laboratory. Dr. Vuong previously worked as founder and chief operating officer of Vitalea Science, Inc., an early drug discovery and development company.

Crediting her success to the quality of her work, Dr. Vuong earned a Ph.D. in Nutrition, Chemistry and Epidemiology from the University of California, Davis in 1997. She went on to complete postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Hawaii's Cancer Research Center and the Western Human Nutrition Research Center. Dr. Vuong remains current in her field through affiliation with the American Society for Clinical Pathology. In 2007, she received an SBIR award from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Vuong is a supporter of the World Wildlife Fund and Amnesty International. She enjoys traveling in her free time.
